Ventful is an events creation and management app designed to make event planning easier than ever before. I was commissioned to create a visual language and brand identity for the app to help them stand out against competitors. We wanted to create something eye-catching and approachable with a core focus on usability. I came up with a design system for the app interface, with the help of the team. This included colour palette, fonts, logo, icons, layouts, imagery and social media presence. The final outcome is an ode to nostalgia, with a Buzz Lightyear style green, off-set with a core pink and supporting accent colours. We made sure the app was accessible, bold and playful. The illustrations add personality and character to the brand, tying the notion of Ventful together. The app is now live and available for download on Apple and Android.
